It’s official… the national changes have come home to roost. Our MLS has changed for listings. Home buyers in our area must sign some form of buyers agency agreement to work with a buyer agent to represent the when buying a home. More than ever you need to interview your agent and clearly understand their knowledge of the changes, their education level, and experience. As a buyer, you have options.
And its time to really research your choice of listing agents as well. Some listing brokerages are limiting seller choices yet again but this time… just in a different way. Just like buyers, sellers need to really research their choice in listing agents. Consider their knowledge of the current environment, their education in real estate in general, and their experience. A red flag is when one doesn’t have an intimate knowledge or understanding and make decisions to limit your rights, yet again.
It’s fRuStRaTiNg that many decisions are being made that will limit your rights in buying and selling real estate by people without a deep and intimate knowledge or independent research and study concerning the decisions they are making.
It is my goal to provide you as a client of Uncommon with the most options allowed by law and regulation. We have deeply researched the changes affecting all parties and are confident through not limiting your choices as well as working to deeply inform you of the recent implemented changes. We want to provide you with best options and most opportunities to achieve your goals with knowledge and transparency.
New Normal: Seller Beware and Buyer Beware when choosing the right real estate broker for you. Unfortunately, the decisions have just become harder than ever. Make sure your agent or broker provides you with the most options allowed to achieve your real estate goals.
